Ryder System, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Class A CDL Transfer Truck Driver for local shuttle movements between Ryder facilities. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with home daily and a $25/hour pay rate, plus weekly $1,000 earnings potential.

Qualification requirements include 21+, DOT and Ryder checks, a valid CDL with endorsements, and 9 months–5 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience. Excellent benefits after 30 days and 24/7 roadside support are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug & alcohol verification for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a commercial vehicle in compliance with safety and DOT regulations
• Maintain logs and required records accurately
• Follow routes and shuttle equipment between Ryder facilities
• Participate in training and safety programs
• Support duties as assigned by supervisors

Position Description

Immediate opening for a Class A CDL Transfer Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Philadelphia, PA.

Weekly Pay $1000 per week. Hourly Pay: $25.00 per Hour. Home Time: Local - Home Daily. Schedule: Monday - Friday. Start Time: 2 PM.

All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

Route: Shuttle Equipment between Ryder Customer Facilities. Freight: No Touch - Empty Trailers for Equipment Shuttle Transfer Movement.

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service

• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
