Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Bensenville, IL is seeking a Shuttle Transfer Driver. This local role offers home daily, a Mon-Thu shift from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and pay of $22.50 per hour with weekly pay.

Candidates must possess a valid Class A CDL with endorsements, pass DOT physical and drug testing, and complete a road test. Paid training, PTO from day one (up to 80 hours first year), uniforms/boot allowance, and 401(k) with company match are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL with endorsements for tractor-trailer.
• DOT physical and drug test pass.
• Road test and background check required.
• 9 months to 5 years verified tractor-trailer experience per criteria.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a commercial vehicle in compliance with safety and DOT regulations.
• Maintain logs and records; perform other tasks as assigned.
• Support a no-touch shuttle operation between Ryder facilities.

Immediately Hiring and Seating a Shuttle Transfer Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Bensenville, IL

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $22.50 Per Hour
• Hours Per Week: 25+ hours per week
• Paid Training
• Home Time: Local - Home Daily
• Shift: Monday- Thursday
• Start Time: 8:00 AM- 2:00PM

• Route: Shuttle Equipment between Ryder Customer Facilities
• Freight:No Touch - Empty Trailers for Equipment Shuttle Transfer Movement

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service
