Job summary

The role requires an Associate's degree in nursing with RN licensure, at least 3 years of clinical experience, and preferred supervisory or transfer center experience; BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are recommended. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice is required
• 3 years of clinical experience required
• Preferred supervisory experience or transfer/call center experience
• Ochsner Health certifications such as BLS/ACLS/PALS recommended

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical oversight and bed placement decisions for daily patient flow
• Supports administration, management, and nursing staff to achieve patient-centered care
• Facilitates relationships between leadership, medical staff and interdisciplinary teams for patient room assignments
• Evaluates staffing needs and collaborates with units on capacity surge and patient flow escalation
• Completes data collection, monitoring and evaluation
• Participates in rounds and day-to-day operations of nursing units
• Engages in semiannual telemedicine, business development and hospital outreach activities
