Job summary

Elon University in Charlotte seeks a Senior Assistant Director of Transfer Admissions to lead strategic recruitment and the full transfer admissions lifecycle. You will build partnerships with community colleges, design transfer pathways, and collaborate across the university to simplify transfer processes and improve credit transparency.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with experience in undergraduate admissions or enrollment management, strong communication, and willingness to travel for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and progressively responsible experience in undergraduate admissions, enrollment management, student recruitment, advising, higher education, or related field.
• Ability to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends for recruitment activities.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive transfer enrollment strategy to increase inquiries, applications, and enrollment.
• Lead transfer recruitment partnerships with community colleges and other institutions in Charlotte and surrounding markets.
• Manage transfer applicants through the admissions funnel with high-touch counseling on requirements, credits, financial aid, deadlines, and next steps.
• Review transfer applications and render admission decisions consistent with policies and enrollment objectives.
• Collaborate with academic leadership, Registrar, Financial Aid, Advising, and other campus partners to create a seamless transfer experience.
