Job summary

Augusta University is seeking an Assistant Director of Transfer Recruitment to supervise staff and lead strategic efforts to recruit, admit, and onboard undergraduate transfer, returning, post-baccalaureate, transient, and auditing students at the Summerville Campus.

The role emphasizes transfer student success, collaboration with academic departments, and data-driven decisions to meet enrollment goals. Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in recruitment or higher education are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an Accredited College or University and at least 2 years experience in recruitment, marketing or other higher education fields.
• Masters degree preferred; experience with transfer or adult students; experience supervising full-time staff; familiarity with secondary and postsecondary school systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a data-informed recruitment plan for undergraduate transfer, returning, post-baccalaureate, transient, and auditing students.
• Visit two-year colleges and transfer fairs to meet prospective students.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with feeder institutions and their leaders.
• Create in-person and virtual recruitment events and assessments of strategy effectiveness.
• Collaborate with academic departments and USG to meet enrollment and quality goals.
• Lead articulation agreements and MOUs with partner colleges.
• Supervise staff and manage performance evaluations and projects.
