Job summary

Rochester Christian University in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking a Transfer and Academic Services Specialist to manage credit evaluations, articulation agreements, and transfer processes for students.

You will maintain articulation repositories, collaborate with faculty and staff, support accommodations and testing, and serve as the Accommodations Officer, Testing Center Coordinator, and Rize administrator.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university; a bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Preferred experience in higher education settings.
• Preferred experience in articulation agreements and transfer credit evaluation.
• Preferred experience with TES/Transferology.
• Preferred experience with accommodations.
• An equivalent combination of related work and education experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the articulation repository and web page.
• Maintain transfer equivalency database.
• Syllabi collection and review.
• MACRAO Representative for the Michigan Transfer Network.
• Manage creation and maintenance of articulation agreements and transfer guides with partner schools.
• Stay informed of current state and federal regulations regarding student records.
• Utilize evaluation system to complete transfer evaluations for students.
• Provide exceptional customer service to support incoming transfer students, administrators, faculty, and staff.
• Maintain knowledge of academic changes to degree programs.
• Process academic accommodations requests from students.
• Send regular communications regarding accommodations to students and faculty.
• Schedule and proctor tests in the testing center for students with accommodations.
• Other duties as assigned.
