Boise State University, located in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a qualified candidate to provide technical support within the Office of the Registrar. The role focuses on ensuring compliance and accurate academic records through detailed degree audits and evaluations.
Responsibilities include evaluating transfer and nontraditional credits, updating articulation rules in TES, and administering student records within Perceptive Content while interpreting university policies for students and staff.
Provides technical support for programs and organizational activities to convey information, determine compliance, and resolve controversial situations; acts as a resident expert in the implementation and maintenance of technical program guidelines; performs related work.
The Office of the Registrar ensures institutional compliance and safeguards the integrity of academic records by managing critical student data, academic histories, and policy implementation to support students, faculty, and staff.
Applies skills and job knowledge in area of specialization; may adapt procedures, operations, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to meet needs of area of specialization; may work on non-routine tasks; resolves issues/makes working decisions within area of specialization or responsibility with minimal supervision. Ability to balance competing priorities and time-sensitive tasks, leveraging strong written and verbal communication skills and expertise in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience: monitoring record systems to identify and correct errors; interpreting, explaining, and applying laws, regulations, and complex policies for multiple or highly specialized programs; analyzing information and researching a variety of sources to identify and resolve problems or issues; dealing with individuals from varying backgrounds in stressful situations; entering and retrieving data using a computerized record system; composing and proofreading business correspondence.
Bachelor's degreeExperience working in higher education.
Salary is $20.28 hourly.
