Job summary

Expeditors in Wisconsin seeks a logistics professional for a weekend day hybrid role. You will coordinate shipments, track and trace, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining data accuracy and strong customer and supplier communication.

Requirements include 6 months to 1 year related experience, fluent English, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; HazMat is a plus. Expeditors offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of ocean documentation processes is a plus.
• Effective interpersonal skills and clear, concise communication.
• Proactive, strong organizational skills.
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word).
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred).
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.
• Track and trace Transcon files and reporting.
• Ensure accurate client and vendor billing.
• Coordinate delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable.
• Interact with customers to arrange shipments meeting service standards.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Meet KPI standards per Company policy.
• Understand customers’ procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs.

Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Weekend Day Hybrid Role
  • Monday and Friday 9am-6pm
  • Saturday and Sunday 6am-7pm
  • Off Tuesday through Thursday
• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable
• Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards
• Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Meet compliance at all times?
• Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
• Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of ocean documentation process a plus
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
