Job summary

Expeditors, a global logistics leader, seeks a Transcon Agent for the 3rd shift (4 days, 10-hour shifts). This full-time role supports smooth freight flow, accurate data entry, and timely billing for clients and vendors.

You will track and trace Transcon files, assist with clearances, and interact with customers to arrange shipments that meet service standards while maintaining strong supplier relationships and KPI adherence.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of ocean documentation process a plus.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including listening, comprehension and clear communication.
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ability and desire to work 3rd shift (4 10's).
• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable.
• Interact with customers to arrange shipments meeting service standards.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy.
• Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs.
