Qualifications

A highly regarded plaintiffs' litigation firm is seeking an experienced transactional attorney to join its team in a unique, non-traditional role supporting some of the firm's most significant litigation matters. This position is ideal for a senior corporate attorney who enjoys complex negotiations, sophisticated drafting, and strategic problem-solving, but is looking to apply those skills outside of a traditional deal practice.

Rather than representing clients in mergers, acquisitions, financings, or other corporate transactions, this attorney will leverage their transactional expertise to structure, negotiate, and document complex settlements across a wide range of high-profile litigation matters. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside accomplished trial lawyers and play an integral role in achieving successful outcomes in nationally significant cases.

The position reports directly to the firm's Chief Operating Officer, an attorney, and partners closely with litigators across multiple practice areas.

Responsibilities

• Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Admission to practice in the jurisdiction where you are based (e.g., New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, etc.).
• Willingness to travel periodically as needed to support negotiations and case strategy.
• Base salary of $225,000 to $275,000 + bonus, depending on experience and overall qualifications.
• Hybrid work arrangement based out of the firm's Northern New Jersey office.
• No billable hour requirement.
