Job summary

Marina Sirras & Associates LLC seeks an experienced transactional attorney to structure, negotiate, and document complex settlements across high-profile litigation matters in a hybrid Northern New Jersey office. This senior role focuses on settlement strategy, risk allocation, and sophisticated drafting, offering a non-traditional path with no billable hour requirements.

Travel as needed; base salary $225,000–$275,000 plus bonus, with partnership-minded leadership and direct access to firm

Qualifications

8+ years of sophisticated transactional legal experience.
Experience at a nationally recognized or Am Law firm.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Admission to practice in NJ/NY/PA/CT or similar jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

Lead and support negotiations of complex settlement agreements.
Draft and negotiate sophisticated settlement documents.
Advise litigation teams on settlement strategy, structure, and risk allocation.
Collaborate with attorneys across the firm on high-value, complex matters.
Interface with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders throughout the settlement process.
Develop creative and practical solutions to facilitate successful resolutions.
