Job summary

CohnReznick in New York City is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Transaction Advisory Services group. You will lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for private equity and strategic buyers, analyzing history and identifying sustainable earnings across industries.

The role requires 8+ years in TAS, a CPA or equivalent, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills with excellent communication and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• CPA and other relevant professional certifications preferred.
• Strong current knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, TAS, or M&A.
• 8+ years of transaction advisory experience in various industries.
• Ability to work additional hours and travel as required.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong project management and ability to handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key player in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for private equity and strategic buyers.
• Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends to identify sustainable earnings across industries.
• Coordinate with team and management regarding client expectations for deliverables and deadlines.
• Effectively write and communicate engagement reports and deliverables to client management.
• Coach and mentor staff.
