Job summary

CohnReznick in Boston seeks a Senior Manager to lead our Transaction Advisory Services practice. You will perform buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, interact with clients, and collaborate with teams across levels to deliver insights that drive value.

The successful candidate has 8+ years in transaction advisory, a solid foundation in US GAAP/GAAS and SEC reporting, and strong Excel and presentation skills. CPA and related certifications are preferred, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• CPA and other relevant professional certifications preferred.
• Strong current knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services, or mergers and acquisitions.
• 8+ years of transaction advisory experience within various industries.
• Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel out-of-town to clients as required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key player in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements from both private equity and strategic corporate buyers
• Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends to identify sustainable earnings for a variety of industries
• Coordinate with team and management regarding client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines
• Effectively write and communicate engagement reports and deliverables to client management
• Coach and mentor staff
