Job summary

BST Gallagher Flynn LLP is seeking a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services to lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements. You will collaborate with leaders, manage multiple engagements, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced consulting environment.

The role involves analyzing client financial information within accounting standards, taking on significant responsibility from our South Burlington, VT or Albany, NY offices, with remote capabilities considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• CPA license preferred for role.
• Minimum 5 years in public accounting with 2+ years in TAS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements with private equity and strategic buyers across industries.
• Lead diligence meetings with target company management.
• Perform quality of earnings and working capital analyses, including adjustments to client statements.
• Evaluate financial and operational trends of subject companies.
• Identify issues impacting purchase price and propose resolutions.
• Prepare and communicate due diligence findings in a formal report.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Assist in preparing proposals and engagement letters.
• Supervise Associates and provide performance feedback.
