Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking an Analyst to join its Transaction Advisory Services practice in Washington, D.C. You will help deliver due diligence and financial advisory services to a diversified client base, including private equity, banks, and corporate clients, supporting buy- and sell-side engagements.

The role emphasizes data gathering, analysis, and coordination with Partners to ensure high-quality deliverables and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least one year of related experience required.
• Experience in Audit or Transaction Advisory preferred.
• Professional designations or candidacy (CPA) and/or an advanced degree are a plus.
• High motivation, initiative and positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, experience presenting analyses to management and ability to lead and drive initiatives.
• Ability to work effectively and thrive in a team environment with all levels of client personnel in various industries.
• Ability to interact with senior level client personnel, including supporting the preparation of and participating in executive briefings.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with Partners on matters related to client and engagement management.
• Data gathering, document review and preparation of quality of earnings reports.
• Research and financial analysis of target companies.
• Due diligence for both buy side, sell side, and corporate finance transactions.
• Communication with clients to ensure delivery of exceptional client service.
• Opportunities for career development and to advance within the transaction advisory services group.
