Job summary

The Source LGBT+ Center in Tulare County is seeking a Program Coordinator to implement support groups, work with participants, provide education on trans issues, and help plan events under the guidance of the Program Manager and Director of Programs.

You will collaborate with staff, energize volunteers and partners, coordinate meetings, expand Trans awareness, and build relationships with faith-based spaces and community organizations to advance LGBTQ+ inclusion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a program coordinator or equivalent position.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Outstanding communication and people skills.
• Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed.

Responsibilities

• Implement support groups and education on trans issues.
• Plan and execute events in collaboration with staff.
• Engage volunteers, board members, and partnering orgs.
• Represent The Source in internal and external affairs.
