Form Energy is seeking a Training Technician to join Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV. You will lead engaging, hands-on training for Production Associates, develop and maintain SOPs and visual aids, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to reflect process changes.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. You will support both day and night shifts, with a focus on building a skilled, safety‑conscious manufacturing workforce dedicated to energy storage

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in a training, mentoring, or instructional role on a factory floor.
• Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation (SOPs, Work Instructions).
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex production processes and equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with training methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training for Production Associates on SOPs, work instructions, and safety protocols.
• Mentor and coach on the floor to ensure proper technique and quality adherence.
• Coordinate training schedules with Production Supervisors to minimize impact on production goals.
• Develop, write, and maintain training content and work instructions with cross-functional input.
• Assess training effectiveness with exams and progress tracking.
• Ensure safety policies and quality standards are reflected in training materials.
