Training Specialist Revenue Cycle/Medical Billing/Full Time/Remote

Join to apply for the Training Specialist Revenue Cycle/Medical Billing/Full Time/Remote role at Henry Ford Health.

Works collaboratively with leadership to identify training needs. Develops a training curriculum for all new and existing employees. Utilizes Customer Service/Insurance Recovery leadership as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and maintain instructional materials and procedures related to the activities within the Customer Service/Insurance Recovery Department. Designs course content based on needs assessments. Evaluates the impact of training programs by establishing effectiveness criteria. Plans training schedules considering operational needs. Facilitates training sessions for Customer Service/CBO Insurance Recovery staff responsible for customer/insurance recovery activities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in training.
  • One (1) year of curriculum development experience.
  • Two (2) years in a customer service environment with leadership responsibilities.
  • Excellent documentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience researching, analyzing, designing, planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing, and supporting documentation and training materials.
  • Coaching, counseling, leadership, and quality improvement skills.
