Job summary

Walden University is seeking a Training Specialist to coordinate, implement, and deliver training programs for enrollment and advising staff. You will partner with stakeholders to plan, facilitate, and sustain learning initiatives that align with business goals.

You will manage onboarding, workshops, and certifications while updating training materials and ensuring effective execution across multiple initiatives, under close collaboration with project managers and subject matter experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 4+ years in training or facilitation.
• Experience partnering with stakeholders to plan and deliver programs.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate training for new hires and current staff.
• Lead onboarding programs in coordination with project leaders.
• Track milestones, risks, and resources using PM tools.
• Develop and maintain training materials and facilitator guides.
• Assess learning needs with managers and subject matter experts.
• Collaborate on policies and processes related to training.
• Support learning initiatives across multiple projects and teams.
• Communicate requirements and timelines to stakeholders.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback and observations.
• Support change management efforts for learning projects.
