Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks an experienced Training Specialist (Level 2) in Annapolis, MD to design, develop, and deliver technical training for defense and intelligence personnel. You will craft training docs, deliver classroom and online instruction, and mentor junior staff while aligning with government standards.

The role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph, a related bachelor’s degree (or extended experience in lieu of a degree), and 9+ years of technical/engineering background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 9+ years of relevant technical/engineering experience, OR 13 years of documented technical training/engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience designing instructional courses, assessments and visual aids for complex hardware and software systems.
• 3+ years with SIGINT, RF theory or wireless technologies in a defense/intelligence context.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and instruct instructor‑led and web‑based technical training courses, student guides, slides, practical activities, and assessments.
• Deliver technical briefings and instructional modules to military, intelligence personnel, and large technical audiences.
• Analyze training gaps using feedback to continuously modernize curriculum and plans.
• Author and finalize SOPs, user manuals, training documentation, and technical publications.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior instructional personnel.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with government training standards.
• Incorporate realistic operational scenarios and SIGINT workflows into classroom simulations.
