Job summary
Epic is seeking a Trainer based on our Madison campus, with relocation assistance. You will lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, plus our staff, guiding them as they transition to Epic and save lives.
You will shape training from design to delivery, crafting materials and scenarios and collaborating in teams to improve workflow-based content and software usability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher (any major)
- Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred
- A history of academic and professional success
- Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with 1–2 trips lasting 2–4 days typical month
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
- COVID-19 vaccination
Responsibilities
- Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users plus staff
- Be the first point of contact for many staff and users; shape their experience as they transition to Epic
- Involve in training from instructional design to development of training materials and scenarios
- Collaborate with teams to design workflow-based training content and training for organizations
- Contribute to projects to make Epic software more intuitive; help staff transition smoothly
