Job summary

Liberty First Credit Union in Lincoln, NE invites applications for a Training Assistant to support the Training Manager in developing and delivering programs for associates. You will help onboard new tellers, manage content, and monitor learning outcomes to improve engagement and performance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with department leaders, effective facilitation, and strong communication. Monday–Friday hours with occasional Saturday shifts, salaried exempt with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma required. Some related college courses preferred.
• 1-2 years facilitating classroom and on-the-job training preferred.
• 1-2 years banking experience preferred, Teller experience ideal.
• Proficient using PowerPoint and e-learning portals for facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates training and development programs in classroom, peer-to-peer, on-the-job, and online formats.
• Monitors and evaluates attendees and provides feedback.
• Acts as SME on credit union procedures, transactions, products and services.
• Partners with leaders to review programs and suggest enhancements.
• Administers training records and portals.
• Maintains alignment with core values and service expectations.
• Supports training program updates and new content creation.
