Job summary

Captivation is seeking a mid-level training specialist to support daily program responsibilities and deliver instructor-led training. You will draft materials, provide classroom support, and collaborate with teams to strengthen training across SIGINT domains.

The role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance and US citizenship, with experience designing and delivering effective training to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Nine years of electrical engineering or computer science experience with SIGINT systems and training materials.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Education, Liberal Arts, or similar (four years)
• Three years of experience with VHF, UHF, RF theory and radio propagation.
• Three years of experience with wireless technologies (GSM, CDMA2000, UMTS, LTE, WiFi).

Responsibilities

• Draft and finalize training documentation and present materials to large audiences.
• Provide classroom support and guidance to junior personnel.
• Analyze training problems to identify needs and improve curricula.
• Design, develop, and conduct training; evaluate outcomes and update materials.
• Brief military and agency personnel on operational concepts.
• Develop and implement training plans and curriculum improvements.
• Ensure training programs comply with government policy.
• Develop SIGINT training partnerships to optimize collection operations.

Description

Captivation Software is looking for a mid level training specialist who will assist with daily responsibilities on the program.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise to draft and finalize training documentation, provide classroom support, and present training materials to a large audience
• Perform and provide guidance to more junior contractor personnel involved with systems and equipment training.
• Analyze training problems to identify training needs.
• Design, develop and conduct training. Evaluate training outcomes and revise materials based on student and customer feedback and operational scenario accuracy.
• Brief military and agency personal while conveying operational concepts
• Develop and improve training plans and curriculum based on feedback
• Perform inspections of training programs and personnel to ensure compliance with Government policy
• Draft and finalize training documentation, provide classroom support, and present training materials to a large audience.
• Develop and implement a common SIGINT collection management training partnership between various departments to optimize SIGINT collection operations in support of Combatant Commands, and partners.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of nine (9) years of electrical engineering or computer science experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of basic electronics, SIGINT systems, and computer systems. Experience should include designing and developing instructor-led and/or web-based training courses and associated materials, including slides, diagrams, student guides, practical activities, and assessments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Education, Liberal Arts, or similar degree or equivalent (four years) documented combination of training and experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience with VHF, UHF, RF theory, radio wave propagation and characteristics, radio equipment and antennas.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience with wireless communication technologies such as: GSM, CDMA2000, UMTS, LTE, and WiFi
