Job summary

Captivation is seeking a senior software engineer to join a mission-focused team supporting government programs in the United States. This direct-hire role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph and U.S. citizenship.

You will leverage Python and C/C++ systems design, work with scripting languages, and engage with RF signals familiarity while delivering robust software for complex contracts. Maryland-based on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, and U.S. citizenship are required.

Description

Captivation Software is looking for a senior level software engineer who will be assisting with daily responsibilities.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• Fifteen (15) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required

Required Skills

• General Python scripting and large Python systems design/development
• C/C++ systems design/development
• Scripting languages (Bash, awk, sed, powershell)
• RF Signals Familiarity

Desired Skills

• STM32 microcontroller software development experience
• Familiarity with STM32CubeMX, STM32CubeIDE, STM32CubeProgrammer, STM32CubeMonitor)
• Work with Raspberry Pi4, 5 series products
• Hardware solutions breadboarding, debug and related tools (multimeter, etc)
• Familiarity with silicon digital logic devices (demux, mux, gating, etc)
• RF Signals analysis tools, test tools, and their usage (FieldFox, Spectrum analyzer)
• Customer AI web services (both networks)

Benefits

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
