Fortegra is seeking a Training Specialist to join our Richardson, TX team for in-office work that supports claims training. The role focuses on onboarding, foundational training, and reinforcing claims policies using established materials.

You will also train associates on system tools, explain workflows, and monitor readiness with knowledge checks, while coaching teams and tracking progress across multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and at least two years of college or equivalent experience; Bachelor's preferred.
• At least 2 years of training or related operational experience.
• Exposure to training, coaching, or peer support.
• Basic understanding of claims processes, policies, or call center operations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver onboarding and foundational training for new and existing associates using established materials.
• Train associates in claim policies, procedures, and basic claim handling expectations.
• Provide system and tool training with guidance and structured content.
• Explain basic workflows, team structures, and processes to support understanding of operations.
• Support readiness assessments through call monitoring, claim reviews, and knowledge checks.
• Provide day-to-day coaching and reinforcement of standard processes and best practices.
• Assist in identifying training gaps and upscale trends to leadership or senior trainers.
• Support the maintenance of training materials, job aids, and documentation.
• Track training completion and participation metrics.
• Periodically participate in projects, reports, documentation, tasks or objectives.

Smart AutoCare is the brand name for the vehicle service contract operations and the warranty, F&I and reinsurance solutions of the subsidiaries of Fortegra Warranty Holdings, LLC, a Fortegra company.

The Training Specialist plays a critical role in claims. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Richardson, TX. Level 1 training role focused on delivering established training content, supporting associate readiness, assisting with job aids, and reinforcing claims policies and procedures. Works under guidance from leadership or senior training team members and escalates complex training or performance concerns as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma and at least two years of college or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Preferred Bachelor’s degree in related field.


• At least 2 years of experience in training or a related operational role.


• Exposure to training, coaching, or peer support.


• Basic understanding of claims processes, policies, or call center operations preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.


• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as business needs require.
