Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated Safety Training Lead to organize and deliver employee training across Florida and Georgia. The role involves evaluating program effectiveness, developing new training modules, and maintaining attendance records to measure impact.

You will join the site PSM team as Training Element lead, conduct MSHA Part 48-based training, perform site audits, and drive continuous safety improvements to meet corporate standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a mining, heavy manufacturing or construction safety environment (or equivalent military).
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Train the Trainer or equivalent training course.
• Knowledge of MSHA Part 48 training requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive site safety policy improvements.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and conducts employee training programs across Florida and Georgia.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations to ensure effectiveness and modify programs as needed.
• Develop new training programs.
• Monitor training results through employee progress and maintain attendance records.
• Participate in the site PSM team as Training Element lead.
• Perform 1st party audits and maintain training records for the site.
• Drive improvements for operational compliance with corporate standards.
• Serve as site representative on the Training Development Network (TDN).
• Manage monthly safety meeting program for the site.
• Coordinate and conduct training based on MSHA Part 48.
