Trek is seeking a Manufacturing Training & Repair Specialist to develop employee capabilities through structured training and cross-training while supporting production through repair and quality improvement activities.

The role focuses on onboarding, maintaining training records, and improving workforce flexibility. The ideal candidate has a proactive mindset, works independently, and commits to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in manufacturing, assembly, repair, or bike shop experience.
• 1–2 years mentoring or coaching employees preferred.
• Experience with product repair, rework, buffing, polishing, finishing, and cosmetic restoration preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and show urgency in employee development and product quality.

Aufgaben

• Conduct onboarding and training for new employees on products, processes, and standard work instructions.
• Develop and maintain training programs to improve workforce skills.
• Manage and update employee skill matrices and training records.
• Evaluate proficiency and recommend development opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-training to increase workforce flexibility and coverage.
• Maintain training documentation, work instructions, and process guides.
• Perform product repairs and rework activities on products and assemblies.
• Diagnose defects and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain repair logs and related documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production to identify recurring issues and improvements.
