Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Training Representative at our Northshore Mining facility in Silver Bay, MN. The role focuses on training hourly and salaried Plant Operations and Maintenance staff to safety, environmental, quality, and productivity standards.

The Senior Training Representative will manage training programs, collaborate with the Union, and ensure accurate training records while aligning with MSHA and company policies.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a training environment.
• Excellent team-building, communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Applicants must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Works with multiple departments to understand job descriptions and standards; ensures training standards are executed and maintained.
• Communicates with management and the Union to address training needs.
• Coordinates resources to deliver training on policies, procedures, and MSHA requirements.
• Develops a training tracking system to maintain documentation and refresher requirements.
• Maintains and facilitates ISO QSOPs, ESOPs, and work instructions on SharePoint.
• Develops training schedules for all departments.
• Tracks and reports outcomes of training; maintains MSHA training records.
