Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs in Silver Bay, MN is seeking a Senior Training Representative to ensure hourly and salaried Plant Operations and Maintenance staff are trained to safety, quality and productivity standards.

You will lead the Silver Bay training program, coordinate with the Union and MSHA requirements, and develop records and schedules to support continuous learning and compliance across the plant.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant training experience.
• Excellent team-building, communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training for Plant Operations and Maintenance staff to ensure safety and productivity.
• Collaborate with multiple departments and the Union to address training needs.
• Develop and maintain training records and refresher schedules.
• Maintain ISO QSOPs, ESOPs, and work instructions on SharePoint.
• Schedule training across departments and track outcomes.
• Audit training files and content for MSHA compliance.
• Identify gaps and update training programs accordingly.
• Engage with external entities and other Cliffs facilities to share best practices.
• Encourage employee development and continuous learning.
