Training Program/Project and Content Specialist

Business Title: Training Development Specialist

CE’s Training Program/Project and Content Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and managing training programs and content to support the learning and development needs of an organization. This role involves working closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders and vendor partners to create engaging and effective training assets.

Job Summary: The Training Program/Project and Content Specialist will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of training programs and content. This role involves creating and procuring engaging and effective training materials, managing training projects, and ensuring that all training initiatives align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and editing training programs and content, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and other resources.
  • Manage training projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and business partners to gather information and ensure the accuracy and relevance of the training content.
  • Utilize instructional design principles and best practices to create engaging and effective training materials.
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze training requirements to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in training and development and incorporate new techniques and technologies as appropriate.
  • Provide support and guidance to trainers and facilitators to ensure the successful delivery of training programs.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in training program development, instructional design, or a related role.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience with multimedia production, including video and audio editing, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with e-learning standards (e.g., SCORM, AICC, xAPI).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in instructional design.
  • Experience in a corporate training environment.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design software.
