Qualifications

Training Program Manager - Lab Operations

The Operations Program Manager, Training is responsible for designing, preparing, and conducting various onsite, in-house, and web-based training classes on industry-specific scientific content related to BioAgilytix Scientific Operations. This role involves delivering existing courses, identifying new training opportunities, and collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure training materials remain current and effective. The Program Manager will also oversee the administration and coordination of new hire training and development programs, staying current on scientific and regulatory content to effectively explain complex technical information.

Essential Responsibilities: Program Management
  • Coordinate training programs, including new employee orientation and onboarding.
  • Deliver and develop training for new hires on key SOPs essential for their roles.
  • Conduct training activities and collaborate with SMEs for specialized training such as ddPCR, flow cytometry, LCMS, and GMP.
  • Act as the main contact for external instructors and coordinate with hiring managers to ensure timely onboarding.
  • Review and update course materials annually in partnership with SMEs and global program owners.
  • Support the creation or update of training materials with Instructional Designers.
Essential Responsibilities: Technical and Learning & Development
  • Lead and coordinate training for high-complexity testing personnel, including immunoassays, cell-based assays, and molecular biology assays.
  • Communicate scientific concepts clearly, analyze data, and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Develop training curricula, instructional methods, and evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with HR for training workflows and organize vendor shows, seminars, and Lunch & Learn sessions.
Minimum Qualifications: Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of lab experience, or
  • Master’s degree with at least 4 years of lab experience, or
  • PhD with at least 2 years of lab experience, plus at least 1 year leading training programs.
Core Skills and Technical Skills
  • Independent, results-oriented, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in developing assays (ELISA, MSD-ECL, Flow Cytometry, PCR, ELISpot), Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of GxP regulations, assay execution, and training delivery in various formats.
