Qualifications

• Three years of full-time instructor work experience in peace officer, correctional, fire service, EMS, or rescue topics.
• Eligibility to obtain required Georgia P.O.S.T. instructor certifications and related peace officer certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, guides, and/or instructs subordinate staff in training programs.
• Develops and administers budgets for training and day-to-day operations.
• Prepares curricula, schedules instructors, and ensures compliance with DJJ standards.
• Oversees learning materials, performance plans, and evaluation of staff.
