Job summary

Planet Pharma, headquartered in Thousand Oaks, CA, seeks a Training and Development Associate to support learning events across business units in a hybrid role. You will coordinate logistics, manage rosters, and generate reports while collaborating with trainers and leaders on materials and systems such as LMS and SharePoint.

Strong written and verbal communication, process improvement mindset, and ability to meet deliverables are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years in Learning and Development, Event Management, Admin Support or Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry.
• Experience in Learning and Development in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry is preferred.
• Proven ability coordinating small to large training events.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial training events for multiple business units (including logistical support during an event).
• Management of participant rosters.
• Run and/or distribute reports from LMS, Tableau, Zoho or similar systems.
• Manage communication for training classes (welcome letters, travel logistics).
• Coordinate with trainer on class participant responses and communications.
• Reserve conference rooms, order catering, and manage badge access requests.
• Onsite support during live events (signage, supplies, technical support).
• Archive training records and maintain audit-ready files.
