Job summary

Bridgeport Rescue Mission is seeking a Training Manager for the Transitional Program to design and deliver practical education for adults, coordinate volunteers and partners, and use data to drive program improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, at least three years in training or workforce development, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This full-time, exempt position offers compensation around $55k–$60k and evening/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, human services, or related field preferred.
• At least three years of experience in training, adult education, program coordination, or workforce development.
• Experience developing curriculum or educational programs and coordinating volunteers or instructors.
• Knowledge of adult learning and effective teaching practices.
• Experience using CRM systems and maintaining program data.
• Strong communication, written, organization, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently and collaboratively.
• Commitment to supporting individuals and families in transitional or supportive programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver education and training for the Transitional Program.
• Create lesson plans, presentations, and training materials.
• Coordinate volunteers and community partners for trainings.
• Track participant progress and program outcomes; maintain CRM records.
• Develop a training schedule including day, night, and weekend classes.
• Engage volunteers; provide materials, schedules, and guidance.
