Job summary

JM Test Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Training Manager to lead the NFPA 70E training program for customers across industrial settings. You will oversee NFPA 70E training specialists and a coordinator, setting program direction and ensuring each session meets client needs.

You will still facilitate training sessions, build curricula, and partner with sales on proposals, while guiding a team of technicians with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have NFPA 70E standards knowledge and training methods.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and drive for extended periods; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

JobSummary — The Opportunity

Electrical safety training only works when it's practical,accurate, and delivered by people who know the trade. As our Training Manager,you'll lead the team that brings NFPA 70E training to our customers and helpgrow that training business.

In this role, you will lead our NFPA 70E TrainingSpecialists and Coordinator, set direction for the program, and make sure everysession meets the evolving needs of our clients. You'll still spend time infront of a class, facilitating training and building curricula, and you'llpartner with our sales team on proposals, presentations, and customerrelationships that expand our reach.

KeyResponsibilities & Outcomes

• Lead thetraining team. Set clear expectations, hold regular one-on-ones and teammeetings, conduct performance reviews, resolve issues quickly, and build acollaborative, high-performing culture.
• Developyour trainers. Identify skill gaps, assess trainer and trainee performance,and provide coaching that raises the quality of every session.
• Delivergreat training. Facilitate client training sessions and coordinate theschedule and resources so programs are delivered efficiently and on time.
• Own thecurriculum. Develop and maintain comprehensive curricula aligned with NFPA70E, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, and keep training recordscompliant.
• Grow thebusiness. Partner with Sales to find new opportunities, customizeproposals, deliver persuasive presentations, and research emerging trainingneeds.
• Buildrelationships. Develop strong relationships with customers, industrystakeholders, and partners, and keep CRM, activity, and expense reportingaccurate and on time.

WhatYou Bring

• Required:High school diploma or GED.
• Required:10 years as a journey-level electrician, or completion of a state orfederally registered apprenticeship plus 7 years of journey-level experience.
• Required:5+ years of experience as an electrical apprenticeship instructor.
• Required:Deep understanding of NFPA 70E standards and training methods, plus strongleadership and communication skills.
• Required:Ability to travel and drive for extended periods, stand for long periods,and lift up to 50 lbs. in indoor and outdoor settings.
• Preferred:Associate's degree or technical trade school, and certification from anaccredited craft instructor training program.
• Preferred:EPRI Level II Instrumentation Technician and EPRI Level II TestAdministrator certifications.
