Job summary

The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) seeks an experienced professional to lead project management and training for the Office of School and Community Nutrition Programs. You will develop statewide training initiatives and manage USDA Child Nutrition Programs, delivering content in-person and online to support program effectiveness.

Key responsibilities include creating training materials, evaluating outcomes, and coordinating with internal staff and external partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or 36 credits hours of post-baccalaureate coursework in related fields such as Food Service Administration, Public Health, Education, or related areas.
• Three years of professional experience creating and delivering professional development resources and training, including virtual, in-person, and asynchronous formats.
• Experience in project management or nutrition program administration.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality training slides, job aids, workbooks, videos, and online courses using design tools for in-person and virtual trainings.
• Deliver training and provide technical assistance to USDA nutrition programs through OSCNP.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and assess learning needs across agencies.
• Coordinate with OSCNP staff and external partners to plan and execute training activities.
• Maintain and utilize the Canvas learning management system for registrations and course delivery.
• Prepare data and reports for leadership and external partners.
