Job summary

Athene is seeking a Training Intern to help design, deliver, and evaluate corporate training programs. You will work with teams to create engaging materials and e-learning modules, supporting Athene's training initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in instructional design.

Internships run from mid-May to early August, with interviews completed by mid-November. Eligible students must be enrolled for Fall 2027 term and the role offers paid housing options where eligible.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Education, Human Resources, Graphic Design, Communications, General Business, or related areas
  • Well-rounded and self-motivated
  • Significant experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Proficient communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to accomplishing tasks

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, coordination and facilitation of training sessions and workshops.
  • Support development of training materials, presentations, and e-learning modules.
  • Utilize project management skills for event planning.
  • Conduct research on best practices in training and suggest improvements to existing programs.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling, communication, and maintaining training records

Internship Period

Internships will run from mid-May to early August. Interviews and hiring decisions expect to be completed prior to mid-November, with some being completed as early as late September.

Eligibility

Qualified candidates must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for Fall term 2027.

The Training Intern will support Athene's Training initiatives by assisting in the creation, delivery, and evaluation of training programs. This role provides hands-on experience in corporate training, instructional design, and employee development while contributing to an engaging learning environment for Athene employees.

Preferred Skills
  • Ideal candidate has curriculum development experience in learning methodology and curriculum design eLearning development experience
  • Experience utilizing authoring tools such as Articulate, Photoshop, Vyond, and Video/Audio Production.
  • Experience with AI tools is preferred.
