Job summary

Athene is seeking a Product Marketing intern to support how annuity products are positioned, marketed and brought to market. You will translate product information, market insights and priorities into clear resources for financial professionals and consumers.

The internship runs mid-May to early August, with interviews completed before mid-November and candidates enrolled for Fall 2027. Expect exposure to launches, digital marketing, and collaborative projects across teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Finance or related field.
• Interest in product marketing, financial services, insurance or retirement planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to organize information and explain ideas clearly.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative, curious and willing to ask questions, learn new concepts and contribute ideas.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AI tools, data analysis and content development.

Responsibilities

• Develop foundational knowledge of Athene's annuity portfolio, the competitive landscape and the role annuities play in retirement planning.
• Support product launches and other go-to-market initiatives by assisting with marketing materials, presentations, sales resources and digital content.
• Help translate product information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging.
• Analyze and implement audience, performance, and competitor data and insights to support product positioning and marketing recommendations.
• Collaborate with partners across Marketing and other business units to help move projects from planning through execution.
• Assist with project coordination, content reviews and other team priorities while exploring how technology, automation and AI can improve marketing processes.

Internships will run from mid-May to early August. Interviews and hiring decisions expect to be completed prior to mid-November, with some being completed as early as late September. Qualified candidates must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for Fall term 2027.
