Job summary

Clarvida is seeking a Training Director to oversee employee and foster parent training, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role includes managing the Relias Training System and coordinating training activities.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree with experience in care and treatment of children or young adults, and may qualify for bilingual pay. This full-time role offers a home-office setup with travel to our Portland office for in-person sessions.

Qualifications

• This role requires a relevant degree with experience in care and treatment of children or young adults.
• Experience or training in Collaborative Problem Solving, Peer Support Services, and Trauma Informed Care is preferred.
• Flexibility for travel to our Portland office for in-person trainings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee employee and foster parent training programs and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Manage the Relias Training System and coordinate training activities across teams.
• Partner with program leadership to meet licensure and accreditation requirements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology or allied field with 2 years of experience in care and treatment of children or young adults

Master's Degree with major study in social work, psychology, sociology or allied field and 1 year of experience in the care and treatment of children or young adults

About Your Role

As the Training Director, you will oversee employee and foster parent training, ensuring compliance with all training requirements. This role includes overseeing the Relias Training System and ensuring all training activities comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and polices.

• This position works from a home office and travels to our office in Portland to facilitate in person trainings.
• Additional pay available for bi-lingual candidates

Does the following apply to you?

• A Bachelor’s degree with major study in social work, psychology, sociology or an allied field and have 2 years of experience in the care and treatment of children or young adults OR
• A Master’s Degree with major study in social work, psychology, sociology or an allied field and have 1 year of experience in the care and treatment of children or young adults
• Training or experience in Collaborative Problem Solving, Peer Support Services, and Trauma Informed Care is preferred.
