Job summary

CertainTeed, headquartered in Malvern, PA, seeks a Training Lead to develop and oversee curriculum and training for field sales teams. You will equip the sales force with product knowledge, field tech skills, and project readiness aligned to commercial strategy.

The role includes onboarding new hires with a structured hands‑on and classroom timeline, focusing on gypsum code assemblies, ceilings, and insulation requirements, while enabling contractor interactions and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science or related field.
• 5–8 years in commercial construction, building materials, technical sales, or field training.
• 3–5 years in sales training, technical education or field enablement roles preferred.
• OSHA safety training required or willing to complete within 6 months of hire.
• Industry certifications (UL, ICC, ASTM, LEED, etc.) preferred or willing to complete within 12 months.
• Deep understanding of commercial wall and ceiling systems, fire rated assemblies, acoustics and code.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and adult learning skills.
• Experience with e‑learning and training platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and oversight of curriculum and training for field sales professionals.
• Equip sales team with product knowledge, field technical knowledge and project tracking readiness.
• Onboard new sales professionals with a defined hands‑on and classroom timeline.
• Ensure training aligns with commercial strategy and field priorities.
