SCOPE OF POSITION:

The Training & Development Lead will oversee the creation, implementation, and delivery of training programs for multiple departments, including HVAC, Construction, Sales, Customer Service, and Building Automation. This position ensures that employees at all levels have the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to excel in their roles while upholding the company’s values and goals. As a key contributor to the success of the organization, you will design effective training strategies, manage the training calendar, and deliver impactful classes to develop our workforce.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Curriculum Design: Develop and implement engaging training programs and materials tailored to specific departments, including HVAC, Construction, Sales, Customer Service, and Building Automation.
  2. Training Delivery: Conduct interactive classroom sessions, workshops, and hands-on training for employees, utilizing modern teaching methodologies to maximize retention and engagement.
  3. Training Schedule: Establish and maintain a comprehensive training schedule that aligns with company goals and ensures consistent skill development across all departments.
  4. Needs Assessment: Work closely with department leaders to identify skill gaps, assess training needs, and tailor programs to address these areas effectively.
  5. Employee Development: Provide leadership and professional development programs for employees to prepare them for career advancement and leadership roles within the company.
  6. Standards and Compliance: Ensure all training content aligns with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making improvements as needed.
  8. Resource Management: Maintain and update training tools, materials, and technology to ensure high-quality delivery and relevance to current industry trends.
  9. Collaboration: Partner with department heads, external vendors, and subject matter experts to develop training content and resources.
  10. Leadership: Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the organization.

WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD:

  1. Proven experience in training and development, with a focus on designing and delivering programs for technical, operational, and customer-facing roles.
  2. Strong knowledge of HVAC, Construction, Sales, Customer Service, and/or Building Automation industries preferred.
  3. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  4. Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  5. Experience with instructional design, adult learning principles, and e-learning platforms.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Proficiency in evaluating training effectiveness and implementing improvements based on feedback and data.
  8. Strong collaboration skills, with a track record of working successfully with cross-functional teams.
  9. Familiarity with industry certifications and safety standards is a plus.

Compensation: $60-100k/yr (Based on experience)
