Position

Training Coordinator – Oak Creek, WI

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 6:00 pm – 2:30 am; rotating weekends.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with the onboarding of new employees and initial training.
  • Ensure a positive new hire experience.
  • Provide ongoing group and individualized training to enhance work performance and general education.
  • Deliver training on company and department policies, procedures, department‑related competencies, and Lab Information Systems.
  • Develop and implement resources and programs to achieve training objectives.
  • Evaluate and update existing training materials and plans.
  • Serve as a procedural and compliance resource for department employees.
  • Support leadership with quality and service metrics and assist in creating improvement plans for underperforming employees.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records for all trainings conducted.
  • Provide training with respect and professionalism at all times.
  • Assist with workflow during high‑volume periods or coverage needs.
  • Help supervise day‑to‑day departmental operations and lead the team in daily processes and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year or more of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or higher.
  • 1 year or more of experience in training or leading a team.
  • 2 years or more of experience in specimen processing in a hospital or clinical setting.
Additional Job Standards
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and time‑management skills.
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the territory for training purposes.
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
Benefits
