Focus On Youth Inc. seeks a Training Coordinator to join our Ohio-based team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining the agency's training program, coordinating the bi-annual training plan, and scheduling trainers for preplacement and staff trainings.
You will ensure COA standards are met, maintain training records, and collaborate with leadership to align training with organizational goals while communicating effectively with foster families and staff.

Qualifications:
The ideal applicant will possess two (2) years of experience working with families and/or children in the child welfare system; possess an Associate degree (or related certification) or Bachelor degree; and will demonstrate competencies in administrative tasks. The Training Coordinator must have strong administrative and clerical skills.
Must complete required background checks including BCI/FBI with no record of forbidden offenses listed in OAC 5101:2-5-09. As part of the BCI/FBI background checks necessary for employment, in compliance with new policies from the Ohio Department of Children & Youth, all employees, new hires, and interns will have background checks conducted specifically searching for charges of domestic abuse. If there are any charges of domestic abuse or new charges that occur during time of employment, the employee is subject to denial of employment in the case of prospective new hires or interns and termination of employment for hired staff members, whether employees, contractors, or interns.
