Job summary

Focus On Youth Inc. seeks a Training Coordinator to join our Ohio-based team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining the agency's training program, coordinating the bi-annual training plan, and scheduling trainers for preplacement and staff trainings.

You will ensure COA standards are met, maintain training records, and collaborate with leadership to align training with organizational goals while communicating effectively with foster families and staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with families and/or children in the child welfare system.
• Strong administrative and clerical skills and ability to coordinate training.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of Focus on Youth programs and maintain training department policies and procedures.
• Coordinate the bi-annual training plan and the annual training calendar for preplacement, ongoing, and staff trainings.
• Coordinate pre-placement training program for foster parents.
• Schedule trainers and engage outside speakers for training events.
• Coordinate all training events and maintain COA standards within the training department.
