Job Summary:
The Training Coordinator is responsible for administering and coordinating training and onboarding activities for the Sales Force Development team. This position manages logistics, communications, scheduling, learner provisioning, and cross-functional coordination to ensure a seamless learning experience. The role serves as a key point of contact for training-related activities and supports corporate training initiatives, onboarding programs, and national sales meeting execution.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding activities for new sales hires, ensuring a positive, organized, and effective onboarding experience from acceptance through training completion.
- Submit and manage new hire system provisioning requests to ensure learners have appropriate access, accounts, and resources before their start date.
- Maintain onboarding schedules, training rosters, distribution groups, and learner records to ensure accuracy and readiness for all training programs.
- Coordinate training logistics including travel arrangements, hotel accommodations, transportation, meeting space reservations, meal planning, and facility setup requirements.
- Ensure new hires receive required hardware, software, training materials, and system access necessary for successful participation in onboarding and training programs.
- Maintain training calendars and schedules, communicate updates, and ensure all stakeholders receive timely and accurate information regarding training events and deadlines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for training-related inquiries and provide responsive support to learners, managers, facilitators, and business partners.
- Develop and distribute communications supporting onboarding programs, training initiatives, and organizational learning events.
- Partner with Human Resources, Information Technology, Sales Leadership, Facilities, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of onboarding and development activities.
- Maintain training documentation, attendance records, reporting metrics, and program records in accordance with organizational standards and compliance requirements.
- Support planning and execution of National Sales Meetings by managing attendee tracking, communication plans, workshop logistics, scheduling, and coordination with on-site project teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, learner experience, and overall program effectiveness.
- Perform additional training, administrative, and event support responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
Travel:
- Less than 5% travel anticipated.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in training coordination, program coordination, administrative support, learning operations, or a related business support role required.
- Experience supporting sales training organizations, corporate learning functions, onboarding programs, or employee development initiatives preferred.
- Experience coordinating training events, meetings, and/or organizational programs preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across departments and build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word.
- Experience using collaboration and project management platforms such as SharePoint and Smartsheet.
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize internal systems, processes, and technology platforms.
- Strong time management, prioritization, and follow-through skills.
- Demonstrated customer-service mindset with a proactive and team-oriented approach.
- Primarily office and/or remote office environment with prolonged periods of computer and Microsoft Teams usage.
- Frequent interaction with internal business partners, new employees, vendors, and leadership teams.
- Fast-paced environment requiring management of multiple concurrent projects, schedules, and deadlines.
For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $62,353 and $70,866 per year and may include cost of living adjustments.The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future.This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
