Job summary

SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Training Assistant to provide administrative, LMS, and programmatic support for Education, Training, and Research (ETR) across all training programs. You will help ensure regulatory compliance and maintain training records while assisting with course creation and scheduling in the LMS.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and administrative experience; a bachelor's degree may substitute for the required work experience.
• A bachelor's degree with one year as a trainer/instructor in personnel or employee training and/or training curriculum.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training logistics and participant communications.
• Assist Training Coordinators with daily operational logistics and training material preparation.
• Maintain electronic and hard-copy training records and compliance documentation.
• Manage the LMS, track certifications and deadlines, and generate routine reports.
• Provide basic technical support for training activities.
