Job summary

DT Professional Services is seeking a Training and Development Specialist (Management Analyst I) to join our team in Port Hueneme, CA. The role supports Office of Workforce Development programs, including competency training and internal/external workforce programming.

Responsibilities include researching workforce development opportunities, assisting with training classes, providing Waypoints training, and developing metrics. Preferred Bachelor’s degree and Navy systems experience.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps including Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, SharePoint Online, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF.
• Experience in a customer service and professional office setting.
• Proactive, highly organized, punctual with a track record of high-quality work on deadlines.
• Initiative and teamwork oriented in a collaborative environment.

Job Summary:

DT Professional Services is seeking a Training and Development Specialist(Management Analyst I) to join our team in Port Hueneme, CA. This role will provide support/assume responsibilities for Office of Workforce Development programs such as the command’s competency training program and workforce development internal and external programming.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research for programs and opportunities available to the workforce for further development training opportunities for the general workforce.
• Assist with various aspects of training classes such as opening classes and other associated tasks in support of the competencies and Command Interest Program Managers.
• Provide Waypoints training and information to the workforce.
• Develop and maintain various metrics.
• Create documents such as SOPs and Statements of Work.
• Other duties assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Programs to include Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, SharePoint Online, Power Point, and Adobe PDF.
• Experience within a customer service and professional office setting.
• Proactive, highly organized, and consistently punctual, with a strong track record of producing high-quality work within established timelines.
• Takes initiative and collaborates effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field.
• Previous experience within training and development.
• Experience with U.S. Navy systems and platforms, such as Flank Speed and Navy Waypoints.

The compensation range for this position: $52,000.00 - $62,000.00

Therange listed represents the company’s good-faith estimate of base compensation for this position at the time of posting. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for the role and may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for other forms of compensation, including incentive-based bonuses or commissions, as applicable.
