Independently determines organizational performance and staff development needs agency-wide. Responsibilities include the administration of certification, educational, and training programs; supervision of support and professional-level staff; development and administration of budgets; administration of policies and procedures; organizational development; design of course curricula; and development of lesson plans and instructional materials. The position may also deliver instructional testing, facilitate project teams, and secure facilities and resources necessary for instruction. Certification may be required in a specialty area.
The position also manages and coordinates fiscal and administrative activities throughout the grant lifecycle, including pre-award review, grant application submission, progress monitoring, and award closeout. Responsibilities include using approved budget narratives to prepare and monitor budgets and expenditures/allocations, estimating grant budget line items, and collaborating with the Office of Financial Management (OFM) in the preparation of Federal Financial Reports.
This is a restricted position, solely funded by the EMS for Children Grant, with a period ending 04/30/2027. The availability of funding is scheduled for review annually and periodically thereafter. Continued employment is contingent on the continued availability of funds.
