Job summary

As a Training Administrator, you will serve as Regional Training Administrator, managing the analysis, design, operation, and evaluation of all learning and professional development policies and programs throughout a Region.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/19/2026. Time in Grade does not apply to Delegated Examining Announcements, any reference to Time in Grade in the questionnaire will not apply to the rating and ranking of applicants.

Basic Requirements: All applicants must meet the following basic requirements: (Must be supported in Transcripts from an accredited institution, Resume and/or Applicable Certificate) Year 4: Degree that included or was supplemented by major study in education or in a subject matter field appropriate to the position OR Combination of education and experience -- courses equivalent to a major in education, or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described above. GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have experience performing the majority of the following duties:

  • Apply project management principles, methods, and tools to develop, schedule, coordinate, and manage projects and resources, while monitoring and inspecting costs, work progress, and contractor performance to ensure successful delivery.
  • Implements and monitors special projects and programs, informing key staff of potential impediments.
  • Helps others learn through formal and informal methods, identifies training needs, provides constructive feedback, coaches others on task performance, and serves as a mentor.
  • Creates, delivers, facilitates, and updates training materials.
  • Works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information and assistance, resolve problems, and meet expectations, while maintaining knowledge of available products and services and a strong commitment to quality.
