Job summary

USCIS in Camp Springs, MD is seeking a Supervisory Management & Program Analyst to oversee a team of analysts and deliver high-quality work products.

You will provide senior-level information to Administrative Appeals Office leadership to ensure efficient, effective operations and compliance with federal policies.

This role requires federal experience and readiness to manage programs, guide staff, and advise on workload trends and policy updates.

Qualifications

  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-14 level in the federal service.
  • Time-in-Grade requirements must be met by the stated deadline.

Responsibilities

  • Recommending and drafting updates to established systems, methods, policies, and procedures.
  • Leading and coordinating the creation and execution of short and long-term program office goals.
  • Supervising assigned staff by planning and assigning work, monitoring performance, providing guidance and ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
  • Advising senior leadership on workload trends, program performance, new policies and operational needs, providing recommendations to improve program operations.
  • Implementing Equal Employment Opportunity policies, procedures and recommending improvements to increase program efficiency, ensure compliance, and support organizational objectives.

As a Supervisory Management & Program Analyst, you will supervise a team of analysts to ensure high quality work products. You will provide high level information to the Administrative Appeals Office leadership for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective operation.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/24/2026.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service.

The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/24/2026.

GS-15: You qualify at the GS-15 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.
